Meeting at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 25-27 September 2015 as the Organization celebrates its seventieth anniversary, the Heads of State and Government and High Representatives have decided on new global Sustainable Development Goals.

It’s recognised that eradicating poverty in all its forms and dimensions, including extreme poverty, is the greatest global challenge and an indispensable requirement for sustainable development.

In abounding within the same sense as UN, countries and stakeholders, SOHEDEO-Amahoro Iwacu will engage, within its intervention areas, with collaborative partnerships to free all categories of beneficiaries from the tyranny of poverty and want, to heal and help them move from poor people towards sustainable and resilient communities.
