Its primary aim is to provide information about our organization, its principles, activities, initial idea, and future plans. We hope that you will find this website to be informative and user-friendly.    

Before we proceed any further, we would like to give you a brief overview of our organization: SOHEDEO – Amahoro Iwacu is a National Non-Governmental Organization which was established by graduate Sociologists and Development specialists in order to bring their contributions in solving past and contemporary social problems.

We are convinced that social stability and sustainability of the State and its stakeholders’ interventions in different facets of life cannot be realized and achieved by them alone; that’s why we thought of how we could contribute as an organization of civil society.

At the onset, our interventions will be concentrated in areas of: Dealing with the past, Contemporary social issues prevention and response, Entrepreneurship and Environment protection.

Our priority is the former French turquoise zone in Rwanda.

We look forward to working with you in order for us together unit our strengths and build stable, peaceful and prosperous societies.
